President of the Jamaica Table Tennis Association, Godfrey Lothian,  told Nationwide Sports that a date for the association’s annual general meeting and elections will be confirmed within a week.

The elections which were due in February was postponed until the 2018 financial audit can be presented.

Lothian, who is expected to be challenged by Andrew Lue for the presidency says the Jamaica Olympic Association will be conducting the elections to ensure transparency.

Lothian says all of this is predicated on the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the authorities.

Hosting the elections electronically is one option but Lothian says he’s not sure if it’s legal.
