The Jamaica Tallawahs picked up eleven players in today’s Caribbean Premeir League draft which was done virtually owing to the global pandemic.
The two time champions went into today’s draft with six names already in the bag, Rovman Powell who will captain the team, Andre Russell, Chadwick Walton and Oshane Thomas as the local players who were retained from last year.
Two other names were not released, one is Glen Phillips from New Zealand who has been with the team for the past three season, the name of the other player will be released later
Following today’s Draft the CPL instructed all the franchise oweners not to release the names of the players that they picked up today, all of that will be done during a press conference on friday when all will be released
The Caribbean Premier League is tentatively set for August 19 to September 26 but the Organisers monitoring the COVID 19 situation.
