A taxi operator has been hit with multiple charges following an incident in Tank Hill, Negril in Westmoreland on Tuesday, May 23.
He has been identified as 20-year-old David Kennedy, otherwise called “Brown Man” of Whitehall in the parish.
Reports are that a man was at his home around 6 o’clock in the evening when Kennedy approached him and threatened to kill him with a firearm.
Fearing for his life, the man ran from his house to the police station, where he made a report.
Kennedy was later arrested and charged with Assault at Common Law and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon on Wednesday, May 24.
