Captain of West Indies women, Stafanie Taylor and spin bowler Anisa Mohammed both say they were surprised that they were selected as part of this decade’s best eleven.
Taylor scored the most One-Day International runs and is one of the three highest run-scorers in the World in T20 Internationals.
She scored 3-thousand-9-hundred-and-93 runs in One Day Internationals, which included four centuries and 32 half-centuries.
In T20 Internationals, the 28-year-old skipper managed 2-thousand- 6-hundred-and-39 runs including 14 half-centuries.
Taylor says she’s thankful for the recognition.
Mohammed has been the standout bowler this decade, taking 142 wickets in ODIs over the period.
In 2011, she was able to remove 37 scalps from just 13 games.
In T20 internationls, Mohammed bagged 102 wickets with best figures of 5 for 12.
Mohammed says she hopes to maintain her good form through out her career.
