Coach of mount Pleasant, Paul “Tegat” Davis, credits team chemistry for his sides good showing so far in the Red Stripe Premier League.

Davis returned as head coach of Mount Pleasant after the St. Ann based side parted ways with then head coach Donovan Duckie one game into the 2019/2020 season.

Mount Pleasant now sits at second in the league on 37-points – one behind leaders Waterhouse.

Mount Pleasant’s last match was a 3-nil win away to UWI on December 30.

Davis says for that match he warned his players not to underestimate their opponents.

Mount Pleasant has scored 32 goals while conceding 18.

Davis says he would have loved for his side to concede fewer goals.
