Three men are in custody following a robbery in Snow District, Portland on Friday.

The police say a woman was closing her bar at about 11-pm Friday, when a Toyota Probox motor car with armed men aboard approached her business establishment.

The men exited the vehicle, pushed her into the bar and robbed her of personal items, an undetermined sum of money and a quantity of liquor and cigarettes before fleeing.

The police were alerted and intercepted a Toyota Probox with the three men aboard on the Caen Wood main road.

The complainant’s Samsung cell phone was found in their possession.

The men were taken into custody pending further investigations into robberies and break-ins committed in the division.

Following leads, lawmen conducted operations in St. Margaret’s Bay and Snow Hill where several premises were searched.

A quantity of assorted liquors, suspected to have been stolen from business places in the Portland Police Division, were seized.

And acting on information, lawmen conducted an operation along the St. Margaret’s Bay main road.

A bag containing a Luger 9mm pistol and a magazine containing two 9mm cartridges was seized.
