Director of Tourism at the Jamaica Tourist Board, JTB, Donovan White, says the Jamaica’s tourism partners continue to show a high-level of confidence in the country.

Mr. White says both airline seats and room bookings, up to August, are looking strong.

Jamaica’s tourism sector took a massive hit due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

But, Mr. White says the country has seen consistent growth since the reopening of the nation’s borders.

He says this includes the UK market where there’s a commitment of over three hundred thousand seats for the year.

He also says advertising for the industry is in full swing.
