US President Donald Trump has warned that Iran would be struck very hard, if he discovers the Islamic Republic is linked to the copilot who tried to crash an Israel-bound flight.
Investigators are working to determine why the copilot stabbed the flight’s captain, causing the aircraft to plummet.
Other passengers onboard the plane stopped the attack.
Trump did not elaborate about why he suspects Iran might be involved.
But, he was adamant that the US would retaliate against Tehran if it was responsible.
Trump’s remarks come as diplomatic efforts to end the seven-month war have stalled.
