The Maroon Colonel of the Scotts Hall Maroons and another man have been charged by the St. Mary Police for breaching the Disaster Risk Management Order.

The 40-year-old Colonel, Rodolph Pink and 60-year-old Rastology Francis were charged over the Easter weekend.

Francis was additionally charged with Malicious Destruction of Property and Assaulting a Constable.

The men were charged after they were caught hosting a gathering in Maroon Town, Scott’s Hall in the parish on Saturday with more than ten persons.

When the police tried to disperse the gathering, Francis assaulted one of the officers. Their court dates are being finalised.
