Thirteen deportees arrived on the island from the United Kingdom this morning at approximately 7:30.
Senior Policy Director for Crime Prevention and Community Safety, Renee Steele, confirmed their arrival and says they’re now being processed.
Ms. Steele says the difference between the number of arrivals and that on the manifesto is due to a number of reasons.
She didn’t state those reasons.
She says all thirteen deportees have indicated that family members are willing to receive them, and that the Ministry has verified this information.
