Uganda has been declared Ebola free.
The World Health Organization, WHO, confirmed that the East African country had passed the mandatory 42-day monitoring period without any new cases.
Uganda reported 20 Ebola infections on June 21, with two deaths.
Almost all the cases were people who had travelled from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, DRC.
By contrast, the Ebola outbreak in the DRC is accelerating.
The WHO says confirmed cases are inching closer to 5,800.
Two thousand seven hundred and forty-four deaths have also been recorded, representing a near 50 percent fatality rate.
