Government Senator Matthew Samuda says is not acceptable that the report into the Financial Sector Adjustment Company, FINSAC debacle which took place in the 1990s under a PNP administration has not been completed.

Samuda was opening the state of the nation debate in the Upper House of Parliament on Friday.

In a wide-ranging presentation, the Government Senator argued that a recent decision by the United Nations is additional reason why the Holness-administration should NOT respond favorably to a call by some manufacturers to extend the January 2020 timeline for implementation of the styro-foam ban.
