The West Indies went down by 4-wickets against South Africa in the third One Day International despite a half century from Brandon King at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom today.
King’s run a ball 72 included 11-fours and a six as the Windies were bowled out for 260 inside 49 overs.
Nicholas Pooran made 39 and Jason Holder 36.
Marco Jansen, Bjorn Fortuin and Gerald Coetzee each took two wickets.
Chasing 261 to win, the hosts, led by a century from Heinrich Klaasen raced to the target inside 30 overs.
Klaasen’s unbeaten 119 came off 61 balls and included 15-fours and 5-sixes, while Jansen made 43.
Alzarri Joseph bagged three wickets, while Akeal Hosein picked up 2.
