A Kingston woman who was arrested and charged with child endangerment on the weekend is to appear before the Family Court on Tuesday, January 8.

The woman who’s been identified as 32-year-old Joelle Clayton of Sandhurst Crescent, Kingston 6 reportedly left her baby locked in a motor vehicle along South Camp Road in Kingston on Saturday.

Clayton reportedly left the baby locked in the vehicle while partying at the popular breakfast party, Day Break at Sabina Park.

Reports are about 11:00 Saturday morning, a passerby saw the baby crying inside a vehicle and summoned the Police.

The Police team tried to locate the parents however they were unsuccessful. They then broke the window and rescued the baby. The baby was taken to the hospital to be medically examined.

The vehicle was towed and the mother of the baby was subsequently located.
