Finance Minister, Dr. Peter Phillips says the government will pass the fifth quarterly review under the four-year Extended Fund Facility (EFF) agreement signed with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Dr. Phillips says the IMF’s recent endorsement of the government’s strong implementation of the programme, has not escaped the attention of players in the international capital markets.
Speaking in the House of Representatives today, Dr. Phillips says slowly but surely, the government is turning around the local economy.
The Finance Minister is bullish about the country’s growth prospects, noting that the future looks good where the matter of job creation and increased investments are concerned.
