There’s been a shake-up in the senior ranks of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, JCF.
This, as the Police High Command has announced the transfers of nine senior officers from various divisions.
The transfers become effective on Monday, September 1.
Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP Gervis Taylor who headed the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency, has been assigned to the Administration portfolio.
ACP Elbert Nelson will be transferred from the Administration portfolio to the Community Safety and Security Branch.
Senior Superintendent Andrew Lewis is moving from Traffic Head-quarters to the Court of Enquiry.
He’ll be replaced there by SSP Calvin Allen, who’s being transferred from the Operations Branch.
SSP Marlon Nesbeth from the Manchester Division is heading to the Area Five Headquarters.
Superintendent Melvin Brown from the Mounted Troops will be going to the Manchester Division.
Superintendent Carl Ferguson from the St Catherine South Division is being transferred to the Marine Division.
He’s taking over from Superintendent Terrence Sancko, who’s going to the St Catherine South Division.
Superintendent Victor Hamilton, from Operations Branch, will be heading to the Mounted Troops.
