The deceased is a 79 year old male from St. Ann.
This brings the total number of Covid-19 deaths in the island at 936.
The number of active cases now stands at 22,279.
808 samples were tested, representing a positivity rate of 12 percent.
In the meantime, recoveries in the latest update stands at 175.
This brings the number of recoveries to 24, 703.
181 persons have been hospitalized, 45 are moderately ill and 14 are critical.
