The 10th edition of the Caribbean Premier League culminates tonight with the grand finale between the inaugural Champions, the Jamaica Tallawahs up against the Barbados Royals.

The Royals come into the final as the favorites, having won 9 of the 11 games they have contested so far this season. One of those defeats, came at the hands of the Tallawahs in the preliminary rounds, and they will be seeking to avoid that error in the showpiece event.

The Tallawahs have had a mixed season, and will hope to get it right in the game that really matters. They go into the final having won 7 of the 12 games they have played so far.

Commentator Joseph ‘Reds’ Perreira looks ahead to the final.

Meanwhile, former Tallawahs player, now assistant coach of the Barbados Royals, Andrew Richardson, says it has been a great season so far.

He however says all the focus will be on the final tonight.

He says their good early season form will mean nothing, if they don’t go all the way and win the title tonight.

Richardson says despite his history with the Tallawahs, his focus is on the Royals lifting the trophy tonight.
