Education Minister Fayval Williams says 125 schools are COVID-19 compliant and therefore eligible to resume face to face classes.
She says the Health and Wellness Ministry is prioritizing some schools for their second round of inspections.
The Education Minister also outlined how the Ministry plans to proceed with the Primary Exit Profile, PEP.
Minister Williams says the Education Ministry has also started negotiations with the Caribbean Examinations Council, CXC, to discuss issues raised by some students about the readiness for the sitting of the regional exams.

Minister Williams says the government is to issue vouchers to parents who registered for the Own Your Own device initiative.
She says the deadline has been extended to the end of this month and parents who have applied can qualify if they earn less than 500-thousand dollars per year.
She says the Ministry and stakeholders will host a virtual townhall for parents at 6 PM tomorrow.
