Jamaica has recorded 15 more Covid-19 fatalities. That’s according to the Health and Wellness Ministry’s latest update.

The number of Covid-19 deaths now stands at 2,272. The deaths occurred between March 25 and November 2.

Over the past 24 hours, 117 new cases were recorded. The total number of positive cases on the island is 89,466. Overall, 990 samples were tested. This represents a positivity rate of just over 11 per cent. The total number of active cases stands at 27,856.

In the meantime, 146 recoveries were recorded. This brings the number of recoveries to 58,722. In addition, 2 43 people are hospitalised. Of those people, 40 are moderately ill, 27 are severely ill, and 18 are considered critical.
