Medical Officer of Health for St. Ann, Dr. Tamika Henry, says while there’s an increase in cases of dengue in the parish, there is no outbreak.
Dr. Henry was addressing the monthly meeting of the St. Ann Municipal Corporation on Thursday..
She says so far this year, there have been 17 reported cases of dengue fever.
This is compared to 10 recorded over the corresponding period last year.
Dr. Henry says the St. Ann Health Department is now on high alert.

More than 300 cases of dengue fever were reported across the island up to Monday of this week.
