The country recorded 38 cases of COVID-19 in the latest round of test results.

According to the latest update from the Ministry of Health, this brings the total number of cases to 13-thousand 3-hundred and 68.

The Health Ministry says 573 samples were tested.

This represents a positivity rate of 6.6%.

Majority of the cases are from Kingston and St. Andrew which recorded 16 cases.

Clarendon followed with 10 cases.

Four cases were recorded in both Manchester and St. Catherine.

St. Elizabeth and St. Mary recorded three cases, St. Ann 2 and St. James recorded a single case.

There were no cases in Hanover, Portland, Trelawny, St. Thomas and Westmoreland.

Meanwhile, no one has died from the virus in the latest update.

In the meantime, recoveries in the latest update stands at 71.

This brings recoveries to 11,253.

Ninety-nine people are hospitalised, 8 are moderately ill and 8 are critical.
