Seven international-based players were named to the senior Reggae Boyz 25-member squad for the two friendly matches against Caribbean rivals Trinidad and Tobago later this month.
The Reggae Boyz will meet the Soca Warriors on March 11 in Montego Bay and then on the 14th in Kingston.
The overseas-based players are Leeds United’s forward Tyler Roberts, Jourdain Fletcher who plays for Indian club NEROCA, Fulham’s Delano McCoy-Splatt, and goalkeeper Jahmali Waite who plays for Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the USA.
DC United’s Ravel Morrison, Dante Cassanova of Tottenham, and Omari Hutchinson are also in the squad.
Meanwhile, four players from Jamaica Premier League leaders Mount Pleasant received called up to the squad.
Only JahShaun Anglin and Oshane Staple from the premier league defending champions Harbour View made the cut.
Both countries are using the games to fine-tune preparations for Concacaf Nations Cup action…..Jamaica will play away to Mexico on March 26 while Trinidad and Tobago will face Bermuda and Nicaragua on March 24 and 27 in Nations Cup qualifiers at home.
