Mount Pleasant returned to the top of the Jamaica Premier League table following their 2-2 draw with Cavalier at the Anthony Spaulding complex, on Monday night.

Mount Pleasant are now on 36 points the same as Arnett Gardens. However, the Theodore Whitmore coached unit has a superior goal difference.

Cavalier came from two goals down to earn a share of the points.

Trivante Stewart scored his 14th goal of the season to put Mount pleasant in front in the fourth minute, Ricardo Morris doubled their lead three minutes later. Ronaldo Webster cut Mount Pleasant’s lead in half in the 10th minute, and Dwayne Atkinson restored parity in minute 30.
