The Ministry of Education says it’s intensifying efforts to locate students who have not returned to school since the passage of Hurricane Melissa.

Dr Troupe’s comments come amid concerns from the principal of Roger Clarke High in St Elizabeth, George Lewis.
The principal says since the advent of Covid-19 and hurricanes Beryl and Melissa, the school population has been cut in half.
In the meantime, Principal Lewis is urging the government to hold parents accountable when students stay away from the classroom.
