National Coach, Rory Alvaranga, has been exonerated by the Aquatic Sports Association of Jamaica of all sanctions previously imposed for matters alleged to have occurred last summer.

Alvaranga was given a three months suspension for hitting a swimmer while they were in China participating in an exchange programme last summer.

The Head Coach of Kaizen Swim Club expressed that he never had a doubt that good sense would prevail to allow him to continue to develop the 30 plus ASAJ registered swimmers in his charge.

Alvaranga confirmed that he had received the exoneration in writing and also says he was not in a position to give details. He says he’s focusing now on getting his swimmers in the best shape possible with the time remaining to make their national contribution.
