Another member of the West Indies team has tested positive for COVID-19.
Leeward Islands leg spinner Hayden Walsh Jr. returned a negative test result on arrival in Dhaka on Sunday but then came back positive on his latest test conducted, yesterday.
To confirm yesterday’s result, Walsh did another test today and that also came back positive.
Walsh Jr., who is asymptomatic, has now gone into self isolation.
Walsh in accordance with established medical protocols will remain with the team in Bangladesh under the supervision of the team doctor and will remain in isolation until he returns two negative test results.
All other members of the squad returned negative results on their tests.
Since arriving in Bangladesh on Sunday, the players have been in individual isolation.
Guyanese all-rounder, Romario Shepherd, tested positive for COVID-19 days before the squad departed the Caribbean for the tour and was replaced by Keon Harding.
