Australia reached 85 for 3 at stumps on day one of the first test against West Indies at Windsor Park, in Dominica.

Adam Voges on 20 and Steven Smith 17 are the not out batsmen.

Earlier, the Windies lost three wickets in 20 balls in the first half hour after lunch… To set in motion a now familiar West Indies collapse.

This left the home side all out for a disappointing 148 at tea.

Opting to bat first they lost wickets steadily and never recovered, losing their last nine wickets for 85 runs.

Opener Shai hope top-scored with 36 and Jason Holder, at number eight, got 21.

But no other batsman made it past 20.

Australia’s Seamers did most of the damage with Josh Hazlewood finishing with three for 33, and Mitchell Johnson taking three for 34.
