The 17-year-old boy who has been identified as a person of interest in the shooting death of his 17-year-old baby mother, Devanese Nelson, in Denham Town on Sunday night is now a wanted man.
The police say he’s now a suspect in the killing of Miss Nelson.
The accused teenager, who the police initially identified as Eric Murdock, is Alejandro Joacquin.
The police have also identified a second person of interest in the matter.
His name is Shaquille Stanberry otherwise called ‘Shawn’ or ‘Country’ from Bottom Pen, Glendevon in St. James.
Senior Superintendent Michael Phipps is Head of the Kingston Western Police Division and gave our news centre the update.
He also confirmed the name of the now wanted man in connection with Ms Nelson’s murder.

Reports are that sometime around 11:00 Sunday night the police responded to calls about an explosion in Kings Heights, Denham Town.
Upon their arrival Ms Nelson was found at the scene with what appeared to be a gun shot wound to the head.
Earlier Tuesday, the Senior Superintendent Phipps told our news centre that Tevin Cross the uncle of the 17-year-old boy had turned himself in.
