Jamaica’s newest international sprint sensation Briana Williams says it’s a bit frustrating having to go to training not knowing if there is actually going to be a season.
The 18-year-old reigning World Under 20 sprint double champion says it takes a special kind of discipline and motivation to get up for training under the circumstances.
Williams who works out under the supervision of coach Ato Boldon at their base in Florida says she is just gradually resuming outdoor training having been forced to train indoors due to the lockdown.
Williams is yet to represent Jamaica at the Senior level but says the decision to wear the colours of Jamaica over the United States was still the correct one and she can’t wait to make her big stage debut.
