Family member of Councillor Ainsley Parkin’s made impassioned pleas for justice for his killing.

The late Councillor Ainsley Parkins as shot dead on July 20 while overseeing debushing work in a section of his Southborough Division.

At his Thanksgiving service was held on Sunday, one of Parkin’s uncle’s Paul Garriques, made this demand.

Mr. Garriques also sharply criticised both political parties.

And one of Parkin’s aunt, echoed the call for justice.

The body of the late Councillor was laid to rest at the family plot in Wakefield, Linstead in St Catherine.
