The country’s COVID-19 positivity rate is now at 25%.

That’s according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness’ latest update.

The positivity rate follows the confirmation of 168 new cases.

They come from 706 samples tested in the last 24 hours.

40 of the new cases are from Kingston and St. Andrew.

No deaths were reported.

More than 3-thousand Jamaicans have died from COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.

There were 1-hundred and 37 recoveries reported in the update.

1-hundred and 31 people are hospitalised with COVID.

35 are moderately ill, 11 are severely ill and 5 are critical.
