Jamaica’s COVID-19 positivity rate is at 28.3%.
The positivity rate follows the confirmation of 131 new cases in the last 24 hours.
These cases come from the testing of 1-thousand 7-hundred and 82 samples.
Majority of the new cases are from St James with 49 reported.
3 new COVID-19 deaths were also recorded.
More than 3-thousand Jamaicans have died from COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.
There were 1-hundred and 56 recoveries reported in the update.
The number of persons hospitalised with COVID has increased to 120.
23 are moderately ill, 4 are severely ill and 3 are critical.
