Public commentator, Suelle Anglin, says a culture of fear continues to drive the concerns Jamaicans have about crime.
More than 70 per cent of respondents expressed concern about their safety on Jamaica’s streets. And while 85 per cent of them have not personally been a victim of crime, 49 per cent knew someone who has been a victim.
Ms. Anglin says it will take a collective effort to build a culture of hope and positivity.
