Some 84,000 candidates are registered to sit this year’s CXC exams, which begin next Monday.
The examinations include the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate, CSEC, and the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination, CAPE.
Students will sit the exams in 260 centres across the island.
This season, 23 CAPE and 25 CSEC subjects will be marked electronically.
In addition, CXC will oversee examinations in the University of Cambridge’s International General Certificate of Secondary Education, Advanced Subsidiary and Advanced Level, as well as the City and Guilds.
Thy will also oversea the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, ACCA, and University of London, examinations this season.
CXC says all supervisors have been trained and assigned to their respective centres.
