The Chief Executive Officer of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica, PSOJ, Dennis Chung, says the recent devaluation of the Jamaican dollar is not a reflection of a lack of investor confidence.

The Jamaican dollar has lost 1 dollar and 14 cents of its value since the start of the year.

He says while there are still issues in the economy to be addressed, business optimism remains high.

Mr. Chung also says it’s an ideal time to invest.
