Manager of Peter Bunting’s Rise United campaign, Dr Dayton Campbell, says he’s committed to ensuring the People’s National Party is united after the internal elections on Saturday.
Mr Bunting is challenging incumbent Dr Peter Phillips for presidency of the PNP.
Dr Campbell says there will be no grudges or hard feelings after the delegates have voted.
Dr. Campbell says Mr Bunting has the backing of most of the delegates, members of the PNP and even some persons he says are sympathetic to the governing Jamaica Labour Party.
In the meantime, West Hanover Member of Parliament, Ian Hayles, says he believes Mr Bunting also has the support of the former PNP presidents.
They were addressing a Rise United mass rally at Caribbean Palms in South West St Andrew on Sunday.
