Minister of Education Fayval Williams says the incident at Ocho Primary School is being investigated by the ministry’s region three office.
Dozens of students from the institution were rushed to the St. Ann’s Bay Regional hospital on Monday after reportedly consuming sweets sold to them by a vendor.
The sweets were laced with cannabis.
The Education Minister is urging parents and students to be vigilant regarding what students purchase from vendors outside school gates.
