The Commanding Officer of the St. James Police Division, Senior Superintendent, Steve McGregor, says the Police have intensified their probe into the killing last night of a farmer and his one year old son.

The man, 31-year-old Kimoy Green, died clutching his son in his arms.

Police say Green and his infant son were shot and killed at their home in the deep rural community of Jackson Lane in Spring Mount in St. James.

SSP McGregor says Mr. Green was shot while holding the infant in his arms.

The senior policeman says the crime demon has spread its tentacles to the quiet community, because of the influx of young lottery scammers seeking refuge.
