A female banker of Goodwill, St. James has been arrested by the Narcotics Police after being caught with cocaine said to be worth over US $500,000.

Thirty-six-year-old Sheena Headley was charged with breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act on Monday.

Reports are that about 6:00 pm, on Wednesday, June 15, the police were conducting an operation in an area and a search was carried out on premises occupied by Headley.

A Toyota Prado sports utility vehicle, owned by Headley, was also searched and cocaine weighing approximately 25 pounds was found.

Headley was charged following an interview in the presence of her attorney.

She’s charged with possession of cocaine, dealing in and taking steps to export cocaine, trafficking cocaine and conspiracy to export cocaine.

The police say the illicit drug has an estimated street value of US $550,000.

Headley is scheduled to appear before the St. James Parish Court on Wednesday, June 29.
