Nationwide News understands that former Director of the Clarendon Alumina Production, CAP, Michael Schloss, has resigned from the board of the Railway Corporation Enterprise Team.

Mr. Schloss’ resignation follows yesterday’s dissolution of the Board of CAP, amid growing controversy surrounding the renewal of a contract with CCA Capital Partners Limited.

Schloss served as chair of the Finance committee of that Board at the time when the contract with CCA Capital Partners came up for renewal.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness has since instructed that the contract be put on hold pending the submission of a report to Cabinet by Mining Minister, Robert Montague.

The report It’s understood, was submitted at yesterday’s marathon sitting of the Cabinet.

The details of that report have not been made public.
