Newly-appointed Opposition Spokesman on Health, Marlene Malahoo Forte, is calling on portfolio Minister, Dr. Fenton Ferguson, to break his silence on the problems bedevelling the May Pen Hospital in Clarendon.
News emerged yesterday that the hospital has been accepting only emergency cases since yesterday.
This, as it’s exceeded its patient capacity and has reportedly run out of critical medical supplies.
However, CEO of the May Pen Hospital, Nadia Nunes, last evening sought to assure that the hospital has adequate medical supplies.
Mrs. Malahoo Forte says Dr. Ferguson must address the issue.
