The Ganja Future Growers and Producers Association is welcoming Cabinet’s move towards decriminalizing the use of ganja.
The association’s Chairman, Orville Silvera, says Parliament should not delay passing the legislation.
However, he says there should be amendments to the bill, allowing individuals to grow ganja instead of individual premises.
He says parliamentarians should view the pending ganja legislation from a medical standpoint, as well as its impact on reducing crime.
