The government has leased lands to over 60 farmers in St Ann to facilitate continued cultivation of crops in the parish. That’s according to agriculture minister, Floyd Green.
He says this is in an effort to give more secure spaces to farmers who have been cultivating on land that do not belong to them.
He adds that the ministry plans to develop 600,000 acres of land for the first Agro Park in the parish.
