Prime Minister Andrew Holness says he expects to bring home some 3,000 Jamaicans between June 1 and June 14.


The Prime Minister says everyone arriving between those dates will go through screening to include a risk-based assessment.


However, Mr. Holness says a modified and expedited protocol will be utilized for countries which constitute a travel bubble based on their COVID19 risk.

He says the initial countries were selected in order to facilitate almost 1,000 Jamaicans in the Caribbean region who’re registered on the Jamcovid19 website wishing to return home.
