Information Minister, Senator Sandrea Falconer, says the new Health Minister, Horace Dalley, will have to assess whether any wrong was committed before deciding to sanction Permanent Secretary, Dr. Kevin Harvey and the country’s Chief Medical Officer, Marion Bullock-Ducasse.

There have been calls for Ducasse, Harvey and the four Chairmen of the Regional Health Authorities to be dismissed for their role in the dead babies scandal.

On Tuesday, the Jamaica Manufacturers Association, JMA, said the decision of Prime Minister Simpson-Miller to reassign former Health Minister, Dr. Fenton Ferguson, has not gone far enough.

The JMA called for more persons to be held accountable.

Senator Falconer says an assessment has to take place before any decision is made on the future of administrators in the Health Sector.
