Health and Wellness Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton says he is happy to know that the country has given the Government, himself and his ministry a favourable rating for its management of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
A recent Nationwide/Bluedot Poll which was conducted between August 14 and August 30 this year among 1,500 Jamaicans across the island, revealed that Dr Tufton and the health ministry are polling better than the Government in the level of trust Jamaicans had in them, managing the pandemic.
Dr. Tufton told Nationwide News in St. James on Wednesday afternoon that while he has no comment on the findings of the poll, anything that is attributed to him must be attributed to Prime Minister Andrew Holness and his colleagues.
Dr. Tufton says he is happy that the country believes that they are all doing a good job.
He says the vaccination activity in St. James is going well, noting that there are currently more vaccination sites in place which is assisting with the number of people showing up to get their jab.
