It’s now time to shift the focus from the number of people being infected with COVID-19 and pay more attention to measures necessary to prevent the vulnerable from dying from the disease.

That’s according to Chief Medical Officer, Dr Jacquiline Bisasor McKenzie.

She says it’s clear that many Jamaicans will be infected during the pandemic.

And Dr Bisasor McKenzie says based on assessments, most of those who get infected are a-symptomatic and require no hospitalization.
