Shimron Hetmyer is moving to calm injury fears following a blistering innings for the Guyana Amazon Warriors on Monday night.
The 29-year-old from East Berbice smashed 111 from 43 deliveries, moving him to fifth in the leading run scorer race in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League.
In the process, Hetmyer led former champions Guyana Amazon Warriors to a nine-run victory via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method over defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders.
Hetmyer says earlier in the season he was struggling with his timing with the bat but motivation from his teammates allowed him to get back to his best.
