Prime Minister Andrew Holness continues to chide the Opposition for what he says was their failure to transform the road infrastructure of the country during their time in government.
The construction of the highway has triggered several protests, especially in Eastern Portland, over the lack of water, the road conditions and dust nuisance affecting their health.
Mr. Holness says the road work is aimed at improving condition of life.
